Cow Appreciation Day

It’s times like this that I wish I lived closer to a Chick-fil-a.  We used to live within walking distance of one.  Now for us it’s a half hour drive or so, we’d have to go to Dublin or Statesboro.  I found out that July 11th is Cow Appreciation Day.  All you have to do is dress like a cow and go into the restaurant and they’ll give you a combo meal. This can be done breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Here are a couple of links that not only explain all the rules, but also a section with tips (cow tipping ) on how to dress like a cow, some are actually do-able and won’t cause total embarrassment.

There is also a something for those “too chicken” to dress the part :

“Not up for sporting the full cow look? Partial cow attire will still get you a complimentary entrée. Request a tall, cool Dr Pepper with your Chick-fil-A and complete your meal.” — From an e-mail I received.
